Just back from Dundee Toastmasters Speech and Evaluation contest. It was my first time at a contest and was a very positive experience. Being in the contest made me take more notice of what I was supposed to do and although I was a bit nervous the feedback I got was very positive and uplifting. It was good to meet up with other Toastmasters Clubs as well and see how they do it. All in all it was great fun and very well organized. For anyone who wants to get good quickly, I’d say entering a competition is the way to go. Thanks Jim Davidson for a great day out. Roll on the next one! When is the next club contests? Does anyone know?
